Well holding hands by Douglas Wright

Well holding hands

–Douglas Wright

How nice it is to walk,

well-holding hands,

through the neighborhood,

through the square,

What do I know? Everywhere

How nice it is to look at the trees,

well-holding hands,

from the bank of the square,

in which we are sitting.

How nice it is to look at the

sky well-holding hands;

in our eyes, flying,

Two birds reflected.

How nice it is to walk well-holding hands;

How cute to walkthrough

life hand in hand well taken!
